Linzy Jackson, Hip Hop Caucus Baltimore Coordinator
Linzy Jackson III is a native East Baltimorean who is dedicated to building a career grounded in community service. Linzy began to foster his commitment to the betterment of Baltimore’s future by joining the Baltimore City Youth Commission where he was voted Chair, The Youth Commission is a group of young people who provide recommendations to both the Mayor and City Council based off of current issues and input from the youth in the city. Linzy then went on to work for the Mayor’s Office, where he is Youth and Education Specialist and Liaison to the Southern/Southeastern District, working tirelessly for its citizens and advocating for better neighborhoods and youth opportunities. He currently spearheads the “Youth B’More Summer Block Party” tours, providing young people all over the city with safe and positive activities throughout the summer. Linzy is the former Programming and Community Services Director of The Baltimore City Young Democrats and has served on several planning committees including the Baltimore Workforce Investment Board-Youth Board, and the Park Heights Renaissance.
