Respect My Vote is a non-partisan voter registration, mobilization, and education campaign targeting young people between the ages of 18 - 40. In 2012, we aim to bring out even more voters than we did in 2008 and 2010.

One Year Countdown to Election DayNovember 6, 2011
Respect My Vote! will kick off with a National day of action exactly one year before Election Day in 2012. We will organize hundreds of community based events at recreation centers, churches and faith institutions, parks, and cultural venues to energize volunteers and raise awareness.

Voter Registration SummitsApril – September 2012
Respect My Vote! Summits in target cities will raise the volume early regarding the importance of the 2012 elections. Tens of thousands will attend summits where they will register to vote, in their cities.

Get Out the Vote Bus TourSeptember – October 2012
The Respect My Vote! Bus Tour is one of the most anticipated happenings of the election season. Major media partners, celebrities, and energized volunteers will inspire tens of thousands voters to go to the polls on November 6, 2012

Hip Hop Caucus National Conference
June 2012
The inaugural Hip Hop Caucus National Conference will rally and train young people from across the country to increase participation in the 2012 elections. Our major celebrity and entertainment partners will bring excitement and a high profile to the conference. This will be a historical gathering of our generation. The cities we are considering to host our conference are Charlotte, NC, Detroit, MI, and Washington, DC.
