Candice Owens is the Director of Production of Hip Hop Caucus. She is an award-winning producer and entrepreneur. She leads both virtual and physical production at the Caucus. She has worked in the entertainment industry for over two decades shepherding all aspects of multi-platform content from conception to completion. Candice is a seasoned storyteller with an impeccable eye for details and thrives on bringing compelling stories to life.
Her passion for production began at an early age while dissecting TV shows with her grandmother, who she credits for her sense of imagination and creativity. From that point on she was determined to connect the puzzle pieces, consuming TV shows, music videos, films and any form of content she could. Her curiosity eventually led her to California State University, Northridge where she began her career paying dues as a PA. Her goal was to understand the production process from the ground up!
Prior to joining Hip Hop Caucus, Candice has worked on notable projects including the Benjamin Crump Doc “Civil,” Teyana Taylor Documentary “Assembly Required,” the Superbowl Halftime Show, countless music festivals, and more.
