To help educate, connect, and mobilize young Black voters ahead of Virginia’s November election, youth vote organization NextGen America, BET, Hip Hop Caucus and the NAACP co-hosted a culture-forward, townhall event to discuss the challenges facing young Black men and the importance of community and civic engagement. The townhall featured Grammy-nominated artist Malice of Clipse, Hip Hop Caucus President and CEO Rev Yearwood Jr., and A&R executive and music journalist, Ahmad David. The event was moderated by National Public Policy Chairman of the 100 Black Men of America, Dr. Wes Bellamy.
