NextGen America, BET, and NAACP Virginia host youth vote townhall ahead of Virginia’s gubernatorial election
Norfolk, VA –– To help educate, connect, and mobilize young Black voters ahead of Virginia’s November election, youth vote organization NextGen America, BET, and the NAACP are co-hosting a culture-forward, townhall event to discuss the challenges facing young Black men and the importance of community and civic engagement.
The townhall will feature Grammy-nominated artist, Malice, President and CEO of the Hip Hop Caucus, Reverend Lennox Yearwood Jr., and A&R executive and music journalist, Ahmad David. The event will be moderated by National Public Policy Chairman of the 100 Black Men of America, Dr. Wes Bellamy. The event will provide free swag and voting resources to attendees.
