Big plastic is now pushing something called “chemical recycling.” They also dress it up as “advanced recycling” or “molecular recycling,” but don’t let them fool you. Whatever they want to call it, the industry still burns plastic and other toxic methods that don’t actually recycle anything. And our communities are paying the price.
