We are fighting for clean air and clean water for BIPOC communities.
Hip Hop Caucus fights for clean air and water by mobilizing communities, advocating for strong environmental policies, and holding polluters accountable. Through initiatives like Think 100%, we raise awareness about environmental justice, highlighting how pollution disproportionately impacts Black, Brown, Indigenous and underserved communities. Hip Hop Caucus amplifies grassroots voices through cultural organizing, media, and policy advocacy, pushing for solutions like clean energy investments, stricter emissions regulations, and equitable access to safe water. By engaging artists, activists, and policymakers, we drive systemic change to ensure everyone—especially frontline communities—has access to clean air and water.

The Keystone XL pipeline was a proposed 1,700-mile pipeline that would have carried crude oil from Alberta, Canada to refineries in the United States. The project was controversial and faced years of public protests. In 2021, the Biden administration revoked the permit and the project was abandoned.
Petrochemicals are a triple threat to climate progress, public health, and the environment. In partnership with the Beyond Petrochemicals Campaign, our mission is to block the expansion of petrochemical plants in communities across the U.S. We’ve defeated 19 projects to date.
