During Climate Week NYC 2024, Hip Hop Caucus is saying boldly that climate justice is racial justice and racial justice is climate justice. Our communities – communities of color – are grappling with the consequences of our climate crisis and a legacy of racist economic, housing, and transportation policy at the same time. We plan to engage by centering solutions for Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities that ensure access to clean air and clean water.
