Hip Hop Caucus at the National Bar Association’s Civil Rights Forum

The Hip Hop Caucus team was in Minneapolis sounding the alarm on the growing attacks on voting rights across the country. We joined the National Bar Association for their Civil Rights Forum—highlighting critical issues of importance for the Black Agenda such as criminal justice, environmental justice, and more. We also hosted a breakfast with VA Rep. Bobby Scott on protecting education as a civil right, as well as a conversation with Dr. Jalonne White-Newsome, the Senior Director for Environmental Justice with the White House Council on Environmental Quality.

Voting is how we exercise our power. Hip Hop Caucus is fighting to make sure Black and Brown voters have their voices heard from state Supreme Court races to School Board elections, and our team is working to empower our communities.
