Teaching Artist Institute and the Hip Hop Caucus is hosting the Hip Hop Summit at the this year’s State of the Black World Conference.
This summit will provide an opportunity for participants to interact with freedom fighters from the hip hop culture across Black America and the Pan African world based on the particular issue areas of priority interest to leaders and organizations affiliated.
The Summit being held April 21st-22nd, we acknowledge the Role of Hip Hop and Art in all its forms as a tool in Black Liberation and upward mobility. With a focus on Earth Day, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop with “artivists” that have been influenced by Hip Hop Culture from around the world.
