Crystal Braboy (she/her) is a seasoned HR executive and equity strategist with over 17 years of experience leading people operations, organizational development, and DEI strategy across complex nonprofits. Most recently, she served as the Chief People, Equity, and Culture Officer at Planned Parenthood of Illinois for over a decade, where she led a team of 16 and stewarded transformative cultural initiatives during some of the organization’s most critical inflection points. Crystal is a certified Senior HR Professional (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) and Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) who brings a data-informed, people-first approach to advancing justice and equity in the workplace. A fun fact: Before her HR career, Crystal was a hip hop journalist, writing for VIBE Magazine (amongst other outlets) and has interviewed some of the biggest names in the game.
