Kristi Dayemo is a Think100% Campaign Manager at Hip Hop Caucus. She is a researcher and organizer. Prior to working at Hip Hop Caucus, Kristi conducted research on pathways to a just net zero transportation future and the resulting critical mineral demand. As part of this work she co-authored More Mobility, Less Mining and was cited by the Biden Administration in the 2024 Economic Report of the President. She is currently a fellow in Break Free From Plastic’s inaugural research cohort.
She is a local community organizer in New Orleans. She has organized around issues like police brutality and accountability, anti-war, and energy justice. Currently, she works as a community energy advisor with the city of New Orleans helping her neighbors learn about energy efficiency, green technology and government incentives. She operates two urban flower farms in the 7th and 9th wards that she hopes will one day serve as a place of agricultural connection and education.
